Our Wedding

Blake and Elaina met on Tinder in 2023, and from the very beginning, something felt different. They didn’t spend much time talking on the app before meeting in person—both felt an instant pull to see where this connection might lead.Their first date took place at Punch Bowl Social on December 19, 2023. Afterward, Blake came over to meet Elaina’s family, where she surprised him with homemade Christmas cookies. It was a simple, cozy ending to a special night—and the beginning of something truly meaningful.Just days later, Blake insisted on seeing Elaina again on Christmas Day. He joined her family for Christmas dinner, and that evening, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, their journey together truly began.In the early days, they spent countless hours going on dates, asking questions, and learning everything they could about one another. Like any new relationship, there were moments when they still felt like strangers—and yes, even a few awkward ones! But over time, they grew more comfortable, more open, and more vulnerable with each other. They learned how to be their true selves: goofy, silly, thoughtful, and completely unfiltered—without fear of judgment.What started as two people taking a chance slowly turned into a deep, genuine love built on trust, laughter, and endless support.On November 23, 2024, Blake asked Elaina to spend forever with him.With the help of friends and family, he carefully planned a heartfelt surprise. The day began with Elaina heading to downtown Noblesville with her friends—Elyse and Sydney—for what she thought was just a fun photo outing. During one pose, Elaina squatted down…and promptly ripped her pants. After some laughter, her friends suggested stopping by the Christkindlmarket, but Elaina decided she should change first.When she arrived home, she discovered her indoor cat, Pesto, outside in the freezing cold. Concerned and flustered, she texted Elyse, fully expecting the day to wind down early. No one believed her—and thought she was simply trying to stay in for the night.Meanwhile, Blake and both of their families were waiting at Christkindlmarket, ready for the big moment. Determined not to let the surprise slip away, Blake reached out to Elyse, who turned around and went back to Elaina’s house—waiting outside until she agreed to come out.By then, Elaina had made spaghetti and was fully committed to staying in. But after some convincing, she followed her friends to downtown Carmel.As Elyse and Sydney took photos—and secretly recorded video—Elaina posed by the grand Christmas tree. Moments later, Blake appeared on one knee, with both of their families standing nearby. Elaina was completely speechless.And of course, she said yes.Soon after getting engaged, Blake and Elaina moved in together in Noblesville, where they continue building their life side by side—Blake at Delaware Country Club and Elaina at TravisMathew.From a swipe on Tinder to Christmas cookies, ripped pants, and a perfectly imperfect proposal, their story is one of taking chances, growing together, and choosing each other every single day. They are so grateful for the love and support of their family and friends and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

What Guys Need to Know About Dress Codes

Dress Code: Cocktail Attire (Formal Encouraged)

We invite our guests to dress in cocktail attire, with formal wear encouraged. This means knee-length to floor-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or chic separates for women, and suits or dressy jackets for men. Ties and tuxes are welcome but not required.Guests are more than welcome to play along with our wedding colors—sage, black, and silver—if they’d like. We love any excuse to dress up, so feel free to bring your most elevated look while still feeling comfortable and confident!

A room block is available for Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27. Guests may receive a discounted rate by mentioning “Kaehr-Vise Wedding” when making their reservation. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations must be made by Thursday, May 21. The Holiday Inn Express Greensburg by IHG offers comfortable, air-conditioned rooms with complimentary WiFi. Select rooms include kitchenettes with a refrigerator and microwave. Guests may also enjoy an indoor pool, fitness center, hot tub, and complimentary breakfast.
